Last, we are a "Church." A church is not a program, or an organization, or a building. A church is a body of believers in Jesus Christ who have been baptized and have joined together to obey the Lord in fellowship, ministry, and evangelism.

The final night of VBS ended with family and friends gathered to celebrate the week. The closing program of Giddyup Junction included singing songs from the week, presentations from all the classes, a final puppet show, another visit from Wobbly Boots, the conclusion of story of Fanny Crosby, the total of the offering for the missions project (we passed our $1,000 goal!), and delicious snacks from the chuck wagon.
Tonight at Giddyup Junction, we learned that God's saving love can reach anyone. We also had a special visitor, Bo!
VBS night 4! We had a special visitor, Bo the draft horse! He was beautiful and the kids were in awe! It was our last full night for class, tomorrow is closing ceremony! A huge thank you to Kenny Robbins for bringing Bo to meet everyone!
Tonight during VBS at Cornerstone Baptist Church we learned about God's great love and how the Good News is for everyone. We need to take the news of God's love to new frontiers! (PC Lindsy Hilton)

On Saturday, May 11th, the church family gathered together for a work day. Some of the tasks that were accomplished include raking and leaf blowing, installation of a new exterior door, closet built in the old stairway, spring cleaning, puppet ministry supplies organized, sheet music and books organized and filed, and much more. A great thank you to those who came and helped! Also, thank you to the women who prepared a delicious breakfast for everyone. It was a wonderful, productive day!
Saturday, May 11, is Cornerstone's Spring work day. There are several carpentry projects, lawn cleanup, and a general Spring cleaning. Come at 8, breakfast is provided.
On May 12, we will be challenged in 2 ways from Romans 9: 1) Have we personally responded to spiritual privileges in faith and 2) Are we concerned for ALL unbelievers, whether totally ignorant of the Gospel, or with religious background that they have rejected.
May 5 will be our final message from Romans 8. The chapter begins with the promise that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ through faith. The chapter ends with the promise that there is no NO SEPARATION to believers because of the "HYPER-VICTORY" that is ours through the LOVE of Christ.
Come April 28 to see from Romans 8 that our salvation is secure because it is accomplished by God from start to finish. There is no condemnation for all who are in Christ, for the "Golden Chain" holds firm.

On March 24 we will be encouraged to pray from Romans 8:26, 27. Many times we "labor" in prayer, which is commanded and good. Sometimes we get discouraged and don't pour out our souls to God, and we feel guilty. These verses encourage us to pray with utter dependence on God, knowing that God already KNOWS what is best, and knowing that the Holy Spirit is interpreting our prayers and interceding according to the Father's will.
We are in Romans 8:18 this week. Are you suffering? What do you SEE in your suffering? Do you see present suffering or future glory? Yes, we groan now, but our settled assurance/hope is in future glory that WILL BE revealed.
